    Create something amazing.

Amazing things happen when you bring science, technology and art together.

S+ART Something is S+ART’s annual festival of science, art and technology. It’s an interactive and fun weekend that’s free for all ages. S+ART Something is held in May and at Te Manawa Museum of Art, Science and History.

Each year, S+ART awards grants that form the basis of S+ART Something festival the following year. For 2017, the topics are Greenhouse gases and Energy and there are two $500 grants and two $700 grants available. Applications are open from 1 July – 4 August 2017.

S+ART Collaborating is an interactive hub to connect artists, scientists, schools, whānau and community groups that are interested in collaborating on science-art projects.

S+ART Creating is geared to 10 – 13 year olds. We use basic sci-art techniques to have fun, learn about science and create artwork. The first S+ART Creating will be 25-26 September!
